I am a middle school teacher in Troy School District. I teach both 6th and 7th grade English. I also have taught English Language Development over the past two years. 

Additionally, I am working on completing my master's degree in literacy through Michigan State University. I plan to finish these courses to obtain my master's over the summer of 2016. 

Outside of being a teacher and student, I enjoy spending time with my family, husband, and friends. I enjoy running, swimming, and going for walks around the neighborhood. I am learning to cook and I love to bake!
